Penalty for illegal use of bus lane?

Anyone know what I'm likely to cop for using a bus lane illegally? Just a fine or points too?

Was driving into work today and the embankment was completely shut, did a 180 and turned off to get up to the strand to find a bizarre road where the last 20m were designated as a bus-lane. Was in such a foul mood that I thought 'sod it' and just went through anyway......then realised there were CCTV cams pointing directly at me from the 'Buses only' sign, oops! :)

See edit, I'm guessing a TS50? Someone with more knowledge will be along soon no doubt so don't take it as gospel :)
 
I got pulled going through a bus lane, was my first week of driving and it was a brand new unmarked bus lane, there was a sign but a bus blocking my view of it. The cop was a bit of a ***** but he did let me off kinda, I got an official warning (letter etc) but he didnt bother with the fine, the bloke who was pulled infront of me was being fined though.

Even now 4 years later the same bus lane always has cars going through it, as its not totally obvious its actually a bus lane.
