People don't leave feedback on eBay???

Wait, last year someone said they were hacked when I was selling my xbox, they never paid, I had to pay advertising and then I put it up for auction again, THEN some russian guy who lived in russia won, even though it was clearly stated only in the UK

Thinking about it, if you emailed me 5 times you wouldn't get + feedback I'll tell you that. Mainly because that's really irritating. Actually I might go weeks before leaving feedback and do a bunch together. Ironically if you get a few more feedback they won't hold on to your money iirc. And can't you specify instant payment to save on waiting for them to pay? But generally I find ebay/paypal can be an unpleasant experience for the seller.

No body is obliged to leave feedback.

**** thread, wouldn't read again. Z---------------

How would you feel if you had waited like 30 days for eBay to unfreeze the money, and they send me a message saying they are satisfied. and then the day you get the money you are so annoyed that you just buy the thing to only find out the money just unfroze...

I have only had 1 missed feedback in my 370 sales on ebay.

The members market on here is another story. I've got 8 positive trust and have probably missed about 6 or 7 :(. I wouldn't mind but then you get people asking me to send first. One reason I sell most stuff on ebay and just buy from MM.

This is really starting to annoy me with buyers. That and people who end up winning an auction and don't pay til la couple of days after. YOU know YOU won it, you're sitting on your computer probably idleing on **** like mumsnet. Pay for the item you won so I can send it to you along with all the other **** I have to post tomorrow.

It's not difficult leaving feedback, even a 'thanks' and a positive is enough ffs. I get to the stage where I just don't care anymore tbh, as long as they've paid i'm happy and it'll do me but since I started using the bay in 05 I guess i'm owned about 50 or so positive feedback.

What about the other way?

I won a pair of speakers on Sunday, local pick up only.

I paid within an hour after the auction, during payment I attach a message asking for his address and convenient time for pick up. 24hrs later sent further message.

Still nothing, almost 48hrs gone.

He has my money, I can't go get my speakers.

They payed, but PayPal holds my money because i'm an 'inexperienced' seller
That's right, new seller, they have their reasons 'protection of the buyer' blah blah blah. Just sell a load of cheap 1 day sales, DVD blanks or something get your feedback up. Just wait till they freeze your account with a LOT of money in it and make you jump through hoops to get it unlocked. Hateful place.

Local pickup I would have assumed that that you'd be paying cash in hand unless the seller is stupid and wants eBay/PayPal taking a 10% cut.

If you had a account before you can link the one that has feedback to the other one then they don't hold payment.

I have only had ebay hold payment a couple of times when i first started and sold a nintendo wii for £170
