People don't leave feedback on eBay???

Ive got 600+ feedback and must have at least 100 feedback owing to me.

I just leave it now an cant be bothered to chase people for feedback anymore.

I rarely bother with feedback either, only if the service is particularly good or bad.......if I got 12-15 messages asking for it though I would leave negative feedback.

My friend use to get ticked off with the feedback thing too, happens unfortunately.

I want to use the bay but you hear this and that which then puts you in 2 minds about it.

I don't see how people can just "not bother" I don't leave reviews or anything with amazon or play like some people do, but with ebay because it relies heavily on the feedback I think its only fair to the seller, even if its only to say thanks or item as described. It takes what 15ml seconds?

It's the same on here with the mm after all, I'm sure you all leave trust feedback for your fellow ocukers, why not the same with ebay?

I never bother with feedback. I just want to buy something, pay for it and forget about it. Unless something is wrong.

If someone doesn't leave feedback, eBay should just give a default 3 stars after a period of time. Then i wouldn't get hounded by sellers asking for feedback.

What's more annoying is sellers demanding 5 stars, even though they have overcharged for p+p and stuck the item in a cheap jiffy bag.

I think it might be a personal issue then because I doubt someone with such high feedback would let something like this happen. In any case, if you feel a need to act you can take it up with the eBay dispute process but i'm pretty sure the seller will have a valid reason for not responding.

Update us on the situation when anything happens.

You Mad Bro!

I just want to buy something, pay for it and that is it....I don't want to be bugged with anything else. Neither should I have to. whether is takes 15sec or 15min it is my time and I have already given enough of that as well as my money to the seller in question. A transaction is a transaction. All the rigmarole is why I rarely if ever use ebay.

I don't buy from the MM and if I did I probably wouldn't leave feedback either, unless the service was particularly good or bad.

The problem I'm facing is that I don't get to use the money, unless they leave feedback =/

It is for me, I am an' inexperienced' seller ...

Have you just started to sell? It might be because you're fairly new, or you might not have the correct account type. There are several paypal account types you can sign up for.

Nah, been selling since last year, not sure about the account type, I chose the one which you don't need to pay a MASSIVE business fee??
EDIT: and thanks guys for the help

That's right, new seller, they have their reasons 'protection of the buyer' blah blah blah. Just sell a load of cheap 1 day sales, DVD blanks or something get your feedback up. Just wait till they freeze your account with a LOT of money in it and make you jump through hoops to get it unlocked. Hateful place.

My Paypal account was ok in the first 8 years, but then it got frozen because I apparently surpassed their yearly sales figure of £1700. The reality was that £1700 was their LIFETIME sales limit. I mean like, I upgrade my PC every few years, sold my old ones, same with phones, add a few clothes to the mix and you'll easily get that £1700 in 8 years from eBay sales. The amount of hoops I had to go through with Paypal was more than applying for a bloody passport. Plus, it took some six weeks for my account and funds to be unfrozen. I've no idea at what point they'll freeze my account again. At the next £1700 worth of sales?
