People who commit crimes should lose the right to have children

My plan was not particularly well thought out, so I deserve some grief!

I dont mind being called an idiot if someone puts a smiley after it at least.

You can't take away a persons right to have children but you can however make it less appealing to have more than 1-2 when you got no money to provide for them. If there was nothing to be handed out after 2 children, do you think there would be so many 7+ families out there?

And I don't think it would lower crime any significantly anyway. Wasn't it so that children of criminals usually don't end up criminals themselves (statistically). Just like children of smokers are less likely to smoke themselves. I can't find the source for this now so might be incorrect.

Also, not only children of criminals commits crimes :rolleyes:
