Does anybody know what sort of a performance increase can be gained from a 7800gt over a x800xl @ either 1280x 768 or 1280x1280? Thank you

Yes the performance increase will be huge.
I recently played half-life 2 and F.E.A.R though only @ 1280x768
I've seen a gt 7800 256mb for 190.00 inclusive of vat and I am hoping 2 get 50 quid for my x800 xl
