If your on the electoral register at that address, and all your mail/passport/driving licence are at that address. you park your car their once a week why not?

I just prefer to play above board, I don't want them finding excuses not to pay if I ever do need to use them... Parking it on a drive or on the road at my postcode makes absolutely no difference.

My Girlfriends postcode is even worse haha. I quoted on 10k miles. I'm with a few clubs which I quoted to most insurers... but only Brentacre and Chris Knott are under 500. I still always call the specialists though. I think I'll not bother with rubbish online systems next year and just stick to the companies who understand modded cars.

A lot said Markerstudy have a sort of minimum price guideline for my age or something to that effect and couldnt understand why Brentacre quoted what they have in my renewal letter anyway. Also odd I got so many £550's lol.

Just need to call Brentacre tomorrow to see if they will match/better Chris Knott, then same again with Chris Knott

They're one of the very few people who were genuinely competative on my GTA with a 3.7 engine conversion, even Flux and the like quoted me well into 4 figures, rest ran a mile once the engine was mentioned.

Always been pleased with their service too, although I've never had to make a claim!

Yep, already have, 100 quid off the mark lol can't think of any others to try really. Half the time I think it's a postcode lottery with these firms.

quick thing that might not have occurred to some of you, if its near your birthday mention it to the underwriter, sounds silly but I'm 22 on the 4th of November and ive just had £100 knocked off as I said I will be 22 in 3 weeks, so its always worth a shot

Bell have been the best for me so far. 300bhp Astra VXR was £800 and £950 after beening stolen. 6.0L Monaro VXR is £1400 and VXR8 £1800.

I've taken out a policy with Chris Knott today, £450 as Brentacre wouldn't budge from their £494 renewal, so apart from Brentacre the rest were all £100 more than Chris Knott.

They've won me back as I've had a couple of policies with them previously. Job jobbed
