Person isn't paying on ebay

Report, re-list, done.

Shocker, its an auction.

Yeah you'll only get what people are prepared to pay, the fact it went for 'double' but the buyer didn't pay, shows that he/she worked out they paid over the odds.

There's the second chance system too people need to realise.

Unless were talking thousands, then a CCJ is utterly pointless, you do realise you have to pay to get one issued anyway?

You also can't generally get an CCJ issued easily.

You have to first go through the small claims court, if they then failed to pay up you can then start the process of getting a CCJ against them which as far as I remember and I'm a little rusty at this, but costs at least £70 to get started. Then of course there's the enforcement of that via court appointed bailiffs which for small change would be a total waste of time for you and them both.

Just mark it as failed to pay and re-list it. If your hell bent on going this route, prepare to be laughed at by the judge.

Simply a privacy issue and the lack of a need to tell you. I find it quite hilarious that this forum instantly assume that I sold it a mere 5 minutes ago and it's only worth £5. After those accusations I suddenly felt no need to vindicate myself.

I doubt a man supporting Romney would ever feel such a need.
I hope the judge sees it from your side, and not from the ebay agreement side between them and the buyer, rather than anything to do with you.
Be awful to lose out on court fees.

i had a non paying bidder on ebay once..nothing a contract killer couldn't solve after all.

henceforth I have retained a hitman on commission with such scum.

What exactly are your losses that you would sue for?? You still have the item, and if you went through Ebay's dispute resolution process you'd get your listing fee back. So unless can prove any other out of pocket costs you would get laughed out of court..... that's if you even managed to get a case heard.
