Petrol prices I have to sell my RAV4 so frustrated

I AM however doubting the need for paying the Bridgestones as opposed to putting on some Hankooks or Toyos.

Irrelevent though as the discussion was about an odd claim that a lease company would fit all new tyres to a car with perfectly legal tyres just before auctioning the car.

Therefore what a private owner may or may not choose to do is irrelevent.

Especially when you may end up paying 200% more for Bridgestones via main dealer compared to alternatives

Hardly anyone buys tyres from main dealers, most main dealers dont even have tyre fitting and selling facilities - they have a contract with a local tyre place who sends a mobile fitter out when required.

petrol went up a few pence and so you're selling your car..... reallly..... just reallly...

I believe the phrase is called "the straw that broke the donkeys back"

My prediction is - you are going to save £10 a week in petrol and £100 a year in tax, in which case don't bother.

Spend £5000
Save £500
??????????
Profit

I was looking into this the other week, If I bought a brand new Honda insight id be saving £180 a year on tax and £157.28 a month on fuel, plus Id have a brand new car with full warranty which id be paying £36.30 a week for (after fuel saving), was tempting.
