Petrol prices I have to sell my RAV4 so frustrated

Tesco ones are the worst of the lot, bloody mercenary.

Ah, I work for Sainsburys, but have my shopping delivered by Tesco. Screwy I know lol But I had things missing from Sainsburys (had it delivered the days I didn't work to avoid doing my own shopping & ever ending up being accused of slipping extras in there :D) & I felt awful complaining & dropping the drivers in it! As I work with them. And even with staff discount, Tesco is about the same price. I didn't really say that! :D

Why are you selling it then, because of the running costs?

It was a joke lad. I'm averaging 50mpg right now as i'm doing mostly motorway runs, 80 quid for near 700 miles in a 200bhp (remapped 06 320D SE) RWD tractor ain't too bad. Running costs aren't too bad. Its reliable, only costs i've had on it is to maintain it, which was about 1000 last year, but thats service, brakes, tyres, MOT and battery plus a door dent some prat did in a car park and drove off, cost 50 to repair flawlessly.. so this year technically it should be only service and MOT if all goes well.

I wouldn't bother swapping it, you only do 8000 a year!

Do once less unnecessary journey a week or one less takeaway and you will be fine.

I'm being a tight rse then you think? Just worked it out, it's costing me 66 pounds extra a month to run (if I am only spending an extra 10 a week on petrol than I did with a 206 that I had a year ago)
I dont eat take aways & 98% of my driving is taking my kids to school & back 6 miles away. I work 2 minutes from home.
I guess it's not as much as I thought.

I'm a girl lol
what car do you have I dont have a clue what a 320 is? :o

For that sort of mileage it really isn't going to make that much sense to change the car, unless you get a car that is cheaper as well. But an extra £10 a week? From a few pennies added onto the fuel?
