Happened to me once, found out I was paying for premium petrol, same green hose as ordinary petrol, I told the cashier I'm only paying the ordinary price. After a bit of an argument I paid the ordinary price.

Looks like petrol has really spiked this last week, its gone up 7cent here to $2.99 a gallon. And thats not for 95 like in the UK, regular is 85.

So 65 cents per litre? or £0.42 per litre! That's cheaper than out here - we're paying £0.57 per litre of 93 out here.

When I left UK, the price of petrol hadn't hit £1 per litre! I'm very shocked that it's so expensive now.
