That doesn't surprise as over the years some customer's have attempted to or fill beer/coke cans, plastic 2/4 pint milk containers and one customer tried to fill a 20L flexible plastic container used to fill with drinking water used for camping.
My local filling stations where flowing and no queues. I usually fill up when i get to halfway anyways.
so had to park up, get the train and then a 15 mins walk at the other end to A&E. Spent all day in hospital and she was finally released this evening. Cue anotherwalk back to the train station with me carrying my daughter, in pain, still dressed in her pyjamas, with nothing on her feet and no coat
uk general public is now a comparison to chinese government? really..
did he or did he not tell everyone to fill up? he started the ball rolling.

if only their was enough petrol at the station, maybe then your daughtor could have put her coat on..
Erm didn't you read my post? She didn't have her coat with her. She was rushed to hospital IN AN EMERGENCY in an ambulance.
As for the person that said I shouldn't let my car run that low. I don't live in the middle of the city. The hospital is an hour's drive from where I work. I normally just fill up as the petrol light comes on. I could probably have got to the hospital, but not home again afterwards.
Yes, we could have got a taxi home, but the point is, we shouldn't have to be forced into that position.
