Peugeot 206 - Lost key !

Hi guys

Quick question for those who may have some info - I have manged to foolishly lose one of the key fob things for my 2001 peugeot 206.

I have bought a replacement key fob and blank for on the bay, and tmrw will get the blade cut to match my other key.

My question is - how do I programme the key to do the immobiliser and start the car ? I know that with some cars you can use your existing good key, to reprogramme a spare. Is this possible with peugeot's ? I dont have the pin code card that comes with the car either - so am sure the dealers will skin me alive :eek:

Any help would be really appreciated . . . . :)

I was told by my local dealer it would be £45 to set up my spare key :(
 
Place key in ignition, turn it to accessories (the point at which the radio turns on, but the engine has not started)

Press the close button on the key for 10 secs.

Your key should now be reprogrammed and re-sync'd.
