Peugeot 3008 SUV, timing issue

Ok, got my car back last night.
Peugeot 'goodwill' wouldn't budge past 50% but TBF the service manager at the dealership was superb. He put 10% goodwill into it by reducing the labour costs, so Peugeot then matched that 10%.
The total repairs cost arounf £5k i think, but i ended up paying £1298 which which was £40 less than the original quote before they found all the extra bits that needed replacing.
All in all, i'm happy with that.
Case closed i reckon.

Tbh now that you've paid to have it fixed it'll have warranty on those parts. If it's an otherwise reliable car, you might as well keep using it.
Yes they did mention that because I have paid for at least some of the invoice then I get warranty on the parts, which is a little bit of reassurance.
I guess I’ll try and run it for another couple of years. I say “try” because as much as I love it, there are some cracking cars on the horizon that I’d really like and I can be a bit spontaneous/impulsive at time.
