Is it just on my machine, or is the contrast really high on the video? The intro background is more gray than black.

If things are gray instead of black that would be brightness not contrast.

What ever has changed it looks like its down to the compression as on the uncompressed 4.3GB looks good!

Terry Grant is great, seen him numerous times at btcc/roc/other motorsport, always puts on a great show, will have to watch this later.
