Tempted, ill have to up the voltage going by yours, ive got mine currently set at 1.350.
Should i only have to up the voltage if it starts to BSOD when i keep uping the clocks.
Is 4ghz completely stable and not too hot?
My cpu temp at idle 40c and underload 50-53c so it aint too bad really.

Edit: Thanks wayne for recommending the cpu, memory and motherboard.

Well it depends on the chip. Run CPU-Z and see which revision it is as the C3's seem to be a bit more clockable. To be fair, I think I have bagged a really good one by chance as not many can get it that high with the same core voltage.

I prime tested mine for 8 hours and it has been at that speed for two months now and has never caused me any issues.

I don't know what cooler you are using, but my Thermolab Baram keeps mine idling (at that speed) at 32'c and it peaks at 48'c. :)

There was a thread somehwere that should give you plenty of pointers but is has gone awol.

I'm guessing you have cool 'n' quiet disabled? I have the Fenrir as well and my CPU idles at 32c, max temps 55c on Prime.
Set the CPU voltage to 1.4v, and run Prime for 8 hours. See if you get any crashes then. It should be stable up to 3.6ghz on stock 1.4v, unless you have an unlucky chip.

If talking about Windows XP then your correct . . . but I think Windows 7 and maybe Vista have all the C&Q built in so that would make your statement incorrect! :D
Arrr ...it must be the motherboards i have used with a PII 965 BE in windows 7 x64 then, the M3A79T-Deluxe and Crosshair IV Formula have cool "n" Quiet disabled by default in the BIOS.
