Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but it seems pretty hot off the press.

https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog/p...lution-and-144hz-refresh-rate-details-emerge/

This seems to be the panel I have been waiting for. 4K at a more reasonable size than 27", decent refresh rate and no gimmicky "gamer" colour scheme.

Probably some time to hit the market but I'd be willing to wait for this

95% P3 is wide gamut though....................

But yeah looks like a decent screen, There should be a plethora of 4k 32" 144Hz screens launching this year.

Problem I hate is that they launch, you get to see pics of a screen existing but you then cant actually buy one here for 12 - 18 months so most screens I will want to buy next year, we wont get until 2022.

Do you know what over 32" 144Hz screens are due?

Anyway, some panels got delayed due to covid but there are lots of new 32" 4k high sped panels becoming available in 2021. What monitors we will see from these we will have to wait and see.

Wow.
The wait will finally be over soon, my gaming has been struglling with my 32 inch 4K DELL for over 7 years now.
Its an excellent monitor but I need at least 120Hz now for gaming.
Thanks for the information

Will these 4K 144HZ monitors mainly use HDMI 2.1 ? as the display port doesn't have enough bandwidth for this

I wouldn't count on it. Before Greebo's lovely and much appreciated list, I was aware of two montitors: The Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX and the Philips 329m1rv, neither support HDMI 2.1 from what I've read.

I thought DisplayPort 1.4 would be fine for 4K 144hz? A cable I bought recently (Club 3D DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 Cable) will "Support resolutions up to 8K @ 60Hz and 4K @ 144Hz." Not sure if you have to comprimise anything to hit the 144hz though.

You need a gpu and a monitor that support display stream compression. GPU wise, I think that means a 20x0 or newer. Otherwise you're limited to 95Hz with 10 bit colour or 120Hz with 8 bit.
