Phillips Freevents - Intergrated Microphone

Hi.

I have a Phillips Freevents laptop and it has an intergrated webcam and microphone.
The webcam is working fine but the microphone is not working.
When I have gone in to 'Sound' in the Control Panel it does not look as though it is installed.

How can I fix this?

check the soundcard type and google to see what updated drivers are available
