don't you just love the fact that this country has a few very annoying bar stewards in it.
2:30 am i am just getting ready to go to bed and the phone rings

'police' "this is the police, we have just recovered your bike"

'me' "er what...... its not missing its parked out the front right now"

'police' "oh well this motorcycle is coming up with your details"

'me' opening the front door, looking at the empty space where my bike is suppose to be " *&^%$£@# oops sorry officer, yes it would appear that it is missing, what a total git"

not the sort of phone call i really wanted to have last night, but i suppose at least they have found it so it should speed the claims procedure up somewhat.

just a great way to spend a Thursday, on the phone with the insurance company.

one throughly peeved bru.

Had pretty much the exact thing happen around 9-10 years ago. It was when I had my first bike, a ZX6R. It had been down the road a couple of times so was a bit tatty.

I went round my mates flat for a brew and a chat, around 11pm got a call off the cops saying they had found my bike!. Said sorry mate, think your wrong as its outside, looked out the window and empty space. The copper said he would sit and wait by the bike for me to turn up as it was only 5 mins away.

Some scrotes had just pushed it over a field and hid it behind a van, they had obviously dropped it going over the field as the footrests had big chunks of grass and mud on them.

The copper said 'sorry lad, think they have trashed it', didnt have the heart to tell it it looked that bad before they took it :D
