Phone insurance and claiming a new phone.

Hey guys,

My phone is currently not working correctly, and i pay monthly for my phone insurance.

Now the the main question is, when i request a new handset to replace this one, do i have to get the same make and model, or can i choose a different one and pay the difference if its an upgrade?

I'm asking you lot before i ring, because i don't want to sound to the phone company like i broke it on purpose or something equally sinister!

If you're making a claim on the insurance, you'll get the same, or if the phone is no longer available an equivalent model.

If you're within the upgrade period, just ask for an upgrade and start a new contract. No need to mention the broken phone.
