Phone N00b

So im going to buy a Samsung E770 to replace my brick next pay day. Just wondering how do i get new backgrounds etc? Do i do this through my phone or is there a website i can go to, to browse through and pick ones i like?

Any specific reason why you're going for the E770?
Many other phones (not sure about the E770) allow you to make your own backgrounds etc.
As for the rest of it ... best to google, but beware as many of those sites will send you stuff you don't want and charge you for it on a weekly basis as well.
