I had an old brick style S.E with a green LCD screen lol for my first one. I think it's above in Krooton's picture. I can't remember the exact model no though.

Then a blue one with a non lit up LCD screen. I can't remember the exact model no though.

Then a T68i

A large Pansonic phone that was clamshell. I can't remember the exact model no though.

A Panasonic x70

Then a Samsung one with the buttons all on the side along the screen (it failed, when I lost it, O2 had none left lol). I can't remember the exact model no though.

S.E. S700i
W800i
K800i
C902.

I've had surprisingly few. I only tend to get them with new contracts..

sgh300?

you seriously haven't got a big enough screen for my timeline...

in fact I can't remember it to be honest

starts with a nokia 3110 then

8110, ericsson gh688, gf768, gf788, nokia 6110, 6150, motorola startac 130, motorola V3688, motorola v50, motorola timeport L something, nokia 7110, siemens s25, some samung with a flip, nokia 9110, 8210, 8810, 8850, 8890, 3210, 3310, 6210, 6210i, 6310, 6510(crap, because of carkit), 7210, 6230, 6230i, ericsson T28, T39, t68, sony ericsson T68i, T610i, P800i, P900i, nokia 6820, Sony ericsson P990i, s700i, k750i, w800i, w900i, nokia 8910, 8910i, 8800, 8800 sirocco, sony ericsson k800i, k810i, w910i, P1i, nokia 6300, n95 8gb (possibly the worst of the lot?, sony ericsson k850i, k610i

and that sort of gets you to today where I have a sony ericsson W980i and an iPhone which I've had for a while.

The bold ones are the ones I've had for any serious length of time ie over 3 months.

Clearly I am in the trade but a lot of these have been bought/acquired on my own terms.. I have a bit of a problem but thank god I work in it otherwise I would have been hammered!

Being threatened with a crackberry now...

To be honest the higher up I get in the industry the less I care about the device.

That said.. if I had to nominate a couple as really life (my life) changing handsets I'd go with 3...

Nokia 6110 (when handsets really got good imo...)
Ericsson T28 (proved they could be small)
iPhone (proved they could transcend usage, loads of handsets made out they could do multimedia but this thing is amazing)

So there we go :)

no pictures, can't be bothered, apart from anything I've probably missed loads out.

Returning some videotapes
Nokia 8210 (the day it came out - one of the best phones ever!)
Nokia 8310
Ericsson T68i (awful)
Sony Z5
SE T610 (really slow)
Nokia 7210
Nokia 7610 - (sold it after a week - was terrible)
Nokia 6230
SE k750i (loved the camera at the time)
HTC mini S (sold it after a couple of weeks - terribly built, terrible camera and worst of all Windows mobile is a dog!)
Nokia N95
Nokia N95 8Gb (again, one of the best phones released imo)
G1 (tried it out and sold for cash - a bit too clunky and could sell for a nice $$)
Nokia 8210! (Back to this till I decide where to go now, prob the N95 8Gb, theres nothing around really that beats it price/specswise..)

My favourites where the M3100 and touch Pro. Didn't like the Touch although my son uses it now. The Razr and Samsung also ended up in kids hands for a while.
