Photo from skiing at christmas

Took this photo out of the window of the apartment while I was skiing at christmas. I think with a better camera and better photography skills this picture could have been something quite special!



Click for full size image, I guess it would have been better if the snow was untouched. I did try and get a some of the stuff in the bottom right had corner to give the photo some kind of depth.

Nice winter pic. I agree with your comments. With an opportunity like that its all about getting as many photos from different angles as you possibly can. The composition is the make or break for a landscape shot. (my opinion anyway).

Where was it taken out of interest?

I always love the look of icy panoramics, a geography teacher of mine used to have a 6x A4 prints going around the top of his classroom of the himalayan plateau, always seemed much more interesting than what I was learning. But back to the point, yes good photo, I think that could be a great shot with some extra equipment

Sorry guys forgot I had started this thread, thanks for the comments! It was taken in Fugen, Austria.

Talking about panoramic photographs I took a few at the top of the slopes, I guess I should try and piece them together to see if they are any good
