Its being sold via the rainforest site by a 3rd party seller. If you check his profile you ll find that he has over 20% negative feedback all because of buyers receiving fake and pirated version of the item bought

I understand the the price seems too good to be true but would a reputable company like Amazon sell dodgy software direct from themselves?

Amazon aren't selling it; they are just fulfilling the orders for the seller by keeping the items stocked in their warehouse which makes for easier shipping to customers.

Amazon certainly don't have time to spend checking that every product is legit and the T&Cs of the FBA agreement put the emphasis firmly on the seller to ensure the good are of a saleable quality.

It seems very likely this is going to be fake.
