photo resizing

Hi everyone.

I have taken lots of pictures of handmade cards to add to a forum, however, it turns out there is a maximum 1gb per file limit and they have to be .jpeg files. most of the images are 2 or 3gb, is there a way i can resize them to a smaller format? also, can i do them all at once, or will i have to it one at a time? i currently dont have any photo editing software, so am hoping if that is needed, you can recommend me something i can get for free.

i hope you mean Mb and not Gb

irfanview is a free app that will do resizing.

There is lots of btch resizers out there...........

I use this one http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm works fine and it's free !!

Theres a tool in photoshop, the name escapes my mind, but it resizes all pics, ive done this once before. Google it.

And i hope that you mean MB and not GB as Neil said. You would have a hell of a job on.

Thanks for the replies guys. I do indeed mean mb not gb, shows how much i was concentrating when i wrote that!

imageresizer it ca rezie to your preferred size or standard sizes also it can do orirnals or create new resized ones. its free
