Hey :)

Every year my old college's film and media department has an awards ceremony at a local cinema...this year a friend and I have been in touch with our old film tutor and we have been doing some work with her for the current students (it's all good for the ol' CV!)

The award ceremony is in a few weeks and my friend has been asked to film it and I offered to do some photography, which I said I'd do for free out of the goodness of my heart, was just wondering though....I'd provide compressed images on a CD or something, but was thinking that quite a few people may like prints (of for example them collecting an award etc...) and was wondering what you would charge?

Would most likely only go upto A4 size, but I have no idea reguaring pricing or anything like that as I've never done anything like it before. I don't want to sound like a rip off though, just enough to cover cost of printing and maybe a little for myself for the effort naturally....what would you deem as a reasonable price? (also bearing in mind they are college students!)

Cheers :)

Phil

We are doing a school prom tomorrow night. We charge £7 for an 8x6 and £10 for a 10x8.

We use a local pro-lab and have a deal with them where they charge us around 60p per print (for 100+ prints) - We also put them in a folder costing around 80p from Spicer Hallfield - Its a busy but profitable evening :D

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info! :D

I will check out the companies tomorrow! I'll have a think over prices, probably won't be that much as the quality isn't going to be as good most likely hehe :p

cheers again!
