photoshop advice. Those borders and captions etc

Hi you know you quite often see photos with a black border around them and then a funny caption at the bottom.

I know how to make borders in PS, but is there a particular font etc that is used.

Crop a word from one of the photos and upload it to http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ to identify the font used.
