photoshop gurus - help please!

I was wondering if any of the photoshop gurus would be able to help fix this photo (if it's possible)? It was taken by a friend of mine who didn't really know how to use an SLR, so the exposure is quite far off.

Would be massively grateful if anyone could help/provide some advice...

if you have a raw from the camera it would be a lot easier you could just do it automatically.

The camera was shooting in JPG only, so I don't have the raw file.

Played with curves a little bit but this is the best I could get without the bonnet of the car being hidiously over exposed.

edit: gimme a sec just made it a little better lol.

editedit: here we go.

Send an email to the one in my trust and I'll send it full size if you want

gave it a quick blast in ps, the exif will be gone tho sorry as skitch cant host exif data.

But can email original which will still have exif

Levels + curves, and I did a bit of sharpening and NR too...
