Would love a bit of help with this one. I'm trying to create an action in photoshop that places a copy of my watermark on an image batch relative to the bottom left corner. By default, the place command always places relative to the top left corner so for different orientations/image sizes the watermark will appear in different positions. At the moment I have several actions, one for each size i generally use and within that landscape/portrait. Obviously currently I can't batch all my images at once and as I've got a hundred or so to do it'd be much quicker if I just had the one action. Anyone got any suggestions?

I have set it all up in lightroom 3 which works but the quality of the watermark is poor/pixelated due to the poor algorithms employed by the program for the task.

I'm using CS4.

The problem with the move tool is that it does it relative to the top corner meaning on different height photos the watermark appears at different heights. I want it always 1% from the right and 1% from the bottom. Using the move tool the % from the bottom is variable.

What version of PS do you have?
I ask because CS5 has its own watermark extension, and is basically a built in script for doing just what you want.

This worked on my version of CS4 for mac so may well work on windows also.

I installed the folder manually.

Edit just tested it and seems to work fine;

Ah cool, I didnt even know it existed till I saw some videos with it in recently (to be honest I didnt even know there was an extension manager and I work with PS everyday). Nice that it works for older versions too. Strange that they never brought it out for them.

I think that installer is for mac only? I'm using windows. Is there a different version?

Like I said I didn't use the installer, just placed the folder manually. Worked on my pc also :p

Manual Installation on Windows®:
1. Locate the folder called Adobe Watermark in the Manual Installation folder. 2. Place this folder and contents in the following system locations:

*On Windows® use this path: Programs / Adobe Photoshop CS4 or 5 / Plug-ins / Panels / (Adobe Watermark folder and contents goes here)

Im quite newbie in photoshop, but desperately need a smooth watermark script or something that work nice. But I just found out, that default pshop tools are working horrrible and don't do what they're supposed to.
The first thing I tried was actions - using place tool, but somehow this one scales my logo png file to one third from the original size, and scaling it back makes action put a huuuge logo on entire image.
Also, when action used on an image with different width/height, part of it could just be cut off and not appear on image.
Now I found this Russell's Brown's Adobe Watermark Panel. What can I say, guess it works perfect, when you add text as watermark, but when you use image PNG, here you go:
1) I tried both versions 2.0.6 and 2.0.5 - it's a pity I can't just add watermark 100% that size that logo file has - it allows only to scale watermark... and it is blurry, and bottom pixels of logo has smknd double line...

So, is there another way to simply add a logo ?
