With regards to insurance, when i was 18 and had every mod you could possibly imagine on my car and it was the coupe with larger engine and insurance group i was only paying £800 a year fully comp. So this one shouldn't be a problem.

edit: aaaah uk versions have the vtec-e d15z6

Almost certainly that or the policy was invalid, absolutely no way to get that price i doubt, youd even get third party for that price.

The insurance company I work for (Highway) insure modified vehicles so check us out. We only sell through brokers though.

Can't guarantee it would be a competitive quote, but it's worth shopping around.

It was with admiral, all mods declared. I live in edinburgh and in a good area, i've had my license since the month of my 17th birthday. I can now (20) get insured on near enough most cars. Insurance can be decent if you shop around.

I mean this in the most polite way but,

Pics or it didn't happen.

You say you can get insured on almost anything now, so can most people, but we are talking about when you were 18 and had held a license for 1 year.

Deeping is pretty good on the insurance, better dare i say than leafy Edinburgh.

I would be paying £900 for an un modded 1.2 clio at 18 with 1 years ncb and driving experience, and i live in a really good area.

Give us a list of the mods and i will run a quote see how much it is
