Got this last week, it's a 1998 SS-III celica ( JDM yo

), standard so far, it has the 2 litre 200ps beams engine, lsd, recaro seats, and the big wing from the gt4, you'll have to forgive the fact its a little dirty but the camera wasnt working when i washed it and as soon as you look away its dirty again

What does JDM mean, is it like an old Toyota VTEC or something? Seems to be mentioned quite a lot.

I've always like the lines of the Celica's, apart from the current model which they ruined IMO.

It doesnt have any cam lift like VTEC but it does have Variable valve timing.

looks very nice, what have you got planned for it? You should take out the spacers on the spoiler, makes it look 10x better imo.

Not sure, it hasnt been lightened in any way so i'm guessing not, although it does have an lsd and front and rear strut braces. I do plan on doing some track days in it, so at the moment, i'm looking into suspension upgrades, want coilovers, but the ss-3 has the same superstrut suspension as the st205 gt4, and so far it looks pretty expensive. Other than that i'm not planning on doing a lot to it at the moment, although I already have an induction kit on its way from japan

Love the car! I love white cars... shows off the lines and contours perfectly. Looks superb with the spoiler and white wheels.

A 1.2 Corsa might look crap with a big spoiler, a Toyota Celica on the other hand, doesn't :cool:
