Pioneer DVR-112 in powermac G5

Just wondering will the above drive work in a powermac g5?

The only thing i can see physically stopping it is the bezel, can this be removed easily ? i.e just taken off without cutting etc

I've got a DVR-109 in mine. The front of the drive tray should pull off after a little persuasion The bezel shouldn't be a problem, mine fits fine with it still on.

I just hope Apple build in support for HD drives (HD-DVD and BluRay) in Leopard.

Would be nice to have a Mac Pro with HD support

Yup, PowerMac G5, and she's not showing here age

I can't see them not adding Blu-Ray drives as an option for the Mac Pro. Probably be a £500 option, though
