just wondering with my isp there stating its got a cap of around 20GB peak time usage, does pipex state anywhere that they have a limit of x amount? as a mate of mine is wanting to switch but if they dont currently have a limit set and he isnt downloading 24/7 then he may aswell stay put. unless theres something better than pipex but slightly cheaper as he's paying around £34 p/m currently

pipexs 2mbs connections now 23.99 per month
you can change your account type in the login control pannel for the pipex go
package ( you dont have to change it of your new tho )

they dont have a cap but do ask that you dont download at peak times

ah ok so my mates currently being "fisted" by them with them chargin £33.99 p/m for something that is worth £23.99 now :( :p
ah well i'll let him know so he can change to that instead of moving ISP.

yea sja360 pipex are not changing there packages to all there members you have to do it your self

oh and becuz its a new package you have to be with them for another 12 months. new package = new contract

not for me it dont im on plusnet quite happily, mate reckons he'll just stick with them now seeing as other isps cant provide the same.

ok im happy with pipex been with them for years now, i just dont like some of the things they do to customers. like not changing the packages for there members and making them signup for another 12 months

How are Tosk mate.

You should all move to AOL. :p

AOL is great they let us know they were upgrading our 1mb to 2mb for what we were paying for the 1mb. Also I like the fact there's no download limit. I use firefox as my explore as I prefer it.

Interestingly I'm still on their SOLO 1000 service, I pay £19.99 + VAT (c. 50p less than GO) and I've been upgraded to a 2MB service (they never told me about this upgrade, I just checked one day and there it was). They also waive the credit card surcharge I'd have to pay if I upgraded to GO.
