Places to rent in London

Without wanting to Hijack this thread, whats Charlton like for living? I'm due to be starting a new Job in Canary Wharf. Besides it's seeming lack of any kind of tube/dlr.

I live in Charlton, but work in the City - overground to Cannon St and job done 30min commute door to door :D

My friend who also lives in Charlton works at Canary Wharf. She gets the bus to North Greenwich tube station and one stop to Canary W.

Either that or if you can afford to live on Greenwich peninsular you could walk there.

I have walked back from the o2 Arena several times :)
