Plastic plate that the cpu lies on!?

I mean that the heatsink sits on :/ .. CPU Block?

I've just bought a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H with Hiper HFC-20820-C1 heatsink and fan, but the plastic plate thing is er....odd

Does anyone know where i can get a different plate thing?

Im sure (if it is what im thinking of) then you just take it off. It's just to protect the socket.

Picture the white socket, then a gap, then a square/circular piece of black plastic which the heatsink screws into <-- that thing

Yes i think you're right, but now i see i need a backplate which i can screw the heatsink onto as this one has those plastic plug things
