Why can't they just let you just download the game without all this hassle?
I registered a while ago but i stll haven't received any e-mail from them.
 
Even though I have my name reserved for the BF2 Veterans, free rank up etc for 2142 I still haven't bought this game, due to I refuse to fund spyware crap, yes its not gonna kill my pc but its still bundled crap that funds EA even more, and I don't want to buy something thats going to give other companies the impression that doing this sort of thing is a good thing.

I might dl this though.

I'm right with you there, except i wont get it because itll still install the adware anyway. Ain't happening on my rig.
 
IMO the demo should be avoided i hated the game after trying the demo but still got the game and found it much much better, the demo map is abit pants imo.
 
I'd hardly call it spyware. If you read up on it you will see its nothing more than a basic check so they don't give English people German adds.

Yup the whole spyware thing is blown wayyyy out of proportion, it checks your language.

Also there are no ad's in the europe version.
