Play footy with a girl? yes or not? Why?

She's obviously seen you play - she knows what she's getting into. Just give her a go. She might be rubbish, she might be excellent. Equally, she might be a delicate flower, or she might get stuck in there. But you won't know till you give it a try?!

But then when I think about my daughter playing id want the answer 2. or 3. :D

And also 9. Her boyfriend (your friend) would kick your *** if you damaged her lol

I used to know a couple of girls who were Welsh international players, had no problem playing with them. They weren't all that good but got stuck in plenty.

I play 6 aside every week. Pretty much once or twice a month a few girls come along and play with us.

It has to be said that most of the lads do pull out of tackles that wee bit more than they would normally, but certainly no quarter has ever been asked by the ladies.

I would go as far to say that -they- go harder into the lads than the lads do on each other on occasion.

That and for some strange reason that none of us can pathom, when the play in defence and kick a ball to clear it, 9 times out of 10 it whacks one of the guys in the groin.
*shrug*

They actually better players than some of the guys to be fair :P

We play with option 1), with a bit of comon sense applied.

If she can play football then definitely number 1, if she cant play football and just wants to join for a single week for the hell of it then a 2, if she comes every week and still cant play though then its an 8 (play football without her and invite her for pancakes afterwards) :D

If she plays she has to accept she will be tackled. Anything less than a committed game of football is boring.

She knows it a game of mostly men and if wants to play she has to accept that she will be treated the same as anyone else on the pitch. IF she insists on playing then moans about being tackled then she cannot play again.
