PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

Strikes me as odd that a game wouldn't show benefit unless there are patch...

Extra resolution options and stuff I can understand, but if a system is faster, then it's faster. Why would someone put in effort to make it run slower?

To ensure 100% compatibility with the existing library.

It's 60ms ish with HDR so might be bearable. You could test it first.

Turn off motion interpolation and make sure game mode is on

I'l give it a go for sure

Yep, but one console with be your primary which will digital games offline and share ps+ etc.. and one will be your secondary which won't play digital games offline.

Okay cool, thanks

A good comparison between to two systems on COD 4 Remastered, really impressed with the way the Pro version looks and performs :).

My Amazon pre-order for PSVR stated dispatch 11th for delivery on the 13th. 11th came and went without any updates. Queried it with them on the 12th. They told me it was guaranteed for 13th but that if it didn't arrive they would send a replacement - but that "this won't happen because we are great". Queried this further and was told they would wait until the 16th until they sent out a replacement if not received!

Received updates on 13th that it had only got to the main regional hub and, after contacting them again, wouldn't get to the local hub and go out for delivery until the following day. Ended up cancelling and picking up in store instead (Game).

Considering I had placed my pre-order at the first opportunity and this being my first pre-order experience with Amazon I will be going elsewhere next time.

Was there any problems with the XBone S? I haven't heard anything

There wouldn't be, because the hardware was designed to ensure compatibility with all games already. The increases were fairly minor anyway.

Still makes no sense

Sure it does, the existing library was designed with a fixed specification in mind. I imagine they tested various methods of letting games run freely on the new hardware because that'd be quite a major selling point, but presumably it couldn't be done.

Yeah, somehow I don't think Mark Cerny is a thicko. :p

It'll be interesting to see what Scorpio does with the Xbone games. I've read there has already been extensive engineering to get the games up and running which suggests brand new CPU and GPU for that system.
