Does anyone know what size the average demo is ? Just I might get vita later today and comes with 4gb card i know that's not allot but would it hold a few demos ?

Loads of questions I know, but what is the deal with APPS? Is it right this uses Andriod as an OS?

Could we potentially see a lot of apps for this in the future? With its OLED screen this could be fantastic!

How much is Sony going to lock it down, theres a few apps that interest me at the moment and if there going to be released on it eventually. This would be one hell of a piece of hardware.

I can't answer most of them, but regarding locking it down, they've released the dev kit for free so I don't expect them to be that strict (though they won't let everything on it)

I don't think it runs on Android, sure its Sony's own OS which they are probably going to use on mobiles and tablets etc in the near future.

On the subject of apps, did anyone's facebook app stop working and it seems to have been removed from the store?

Done the trick to get the US Netflix app on the vita!

seems the same as on the ps3, little bit sluggish in the menu's but think thats down to it being in the UK from the US if that makes sense!, streaming with no issues!

So i've had a couple of days to play about and now i'm disappointed to say that Reckless racing 2 on the iphone boasts equivalent graphics to motorstorm and is far the better game :( Touch controls suit this kind of game quite well also, so that's a bit of a stinker!

Vita needs games like uncharted desperately... not simplistic one's like motorstorm rc and rayman that phones can easily replicate.

It's not bad at all, just that the Vita needs to avoid a cratering in sales once the initial rush is over.

I've warmed to the idea somewhat, but i'm waiting for a price drop I think.

Just remember that even the ill fated PSP Go kept its price for months and months. I'm still not expecting anything before December, especially with the discounts retailers are offering
You still are doing alright.. You have me beat on more races that you have set times for and I am finding it hard to change that.

I have unlocked more tracks/super cars than anyone else it seems which makes me look good overall but that will change.

I wouldnt be playing it so much if there wasnt people like you making it a challenge. :D

We are friends right? I can't remember as so many people added me!

3 hours yesterday getting loads of stuff. Will be trying to set some better laps today but hopefully I can put it down for some Uncharted!

You bought any cars of the store yet?

Some times which are set are too hard :(

Not bought any of the cards, I downloaded the free one. Unless I needed to download a car for an event or a trophy I probably wouldn't, I'm not into that kind of DLC personally. When the new festivals are available I'll get those as that is more useful content in my eyes, not just a different car or sin or something

Does this have an alarm clock? Daft question I know. But this would make a very nice bedside alarm clock. With the craddle.

Not at this time no. The PS Suite may get one and many others once it goes live but we just don't know. Thinking of getting that cradle myself.

The Demos run from 200mb to full sized games. All of the Ubisoft titles for example are the full game when you download them, you then just buy a 100kb unlock code.

I might try and compile a list today.. might. lol

It does not use Android OS. However with the PS suite which is due to launch at some point this year developers will get an easy way to put their apps and games onto any PS Suite certified devices. It's easy to code for and should be easy to port from iOS and Android.

The only things you will certainly never see are anything like emulators for old consoles and the like. We'll only know more once it launches though.

Yeah, Facebook borked the app so it was removed until they fix it. Shouldn't be long. The Twitter and Flickr apps are much much better quality IMO.

Can people start beating my times on Motorstorm so I can get the final trophy? :p

I'm trying!
Aaarg the sheep level in escape plan is driving me nuts. Find it hard to control them :(

Wife said it was hard too but she managed it. The gauntlet is laid down!

On a graphical level I cannot comment, but without real controls the likes of Rayman and Motorstorm will always be superior on the Vita in my opinion. Always.
