***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

Vita needs games like uncharted desperately... not simplistic one's like motorstorm rc and rayman that phones can easily replicate.

I disagree. Rayman is the perfect kind of game for a handheld. And I wouldn't want to play that without buttons either. To me a good handheld game is one that you can easily get back into on the go, but still needs the controls that comes with a handheld versus a phone. Platformers, puzzles etc.

I'm opposite than most on Uncharted. I don't really wish to play games like that when I can just play that on the PS3 anyway and it works well there.

Of course it all depends on what people want to play.

But as an example: I wish that escape plan took more use of the buttons and not just touch. Other than the back buttons for swapping character, there is nothing that separates it from a mobile game. So I agree on you when it comes to those kind of games. Just not Rayman :p

But you need to use a Jap PSN account just to play that game though then, since the game is linked to your account

The demo is not region locked however. You should be able to sign in with a Japanese account, download the demo and then log back in with your UK account and play it.

Also top tip for anyone that hasn't seen, hold + and - to mute.

If I was to trade my Wifi for a 3G, could I simply use Content manager to backup/restore all my content (inc purchased digital downloads) from one Vita to another? Or will I have problems with content licences :(

No, the licences are tied to your PSN account, not the hardware. What you WILL have to do is deactivate your system before you take it back otherise you'll have two Vita's linked to your PSN account.

So use the content manager to make a backup to your PC/MAC/PS3, then go into the settings, PSN, system activation, game and hit deactivate. Now your PSN account will not be linked to any hardware.

When you get your new model just punch in your PSN details and do a Restore using the Content manager.

I THINK using the PS website you can deactivate systems remotely but I'm not 100% on that.
