What was that hidden trophy for on Motorstorm Murray?

Just beat a few times off the pitwall and tried more of the supercar speed trials. That car does NOT like the slightest bump!

There is two basketball hoops in the playground if you jump through them both without exiting you get it there is also another one where you get secret cars, on the basketball hoop with the numbers on it if you get that to 10 you unlock one and 20 another one, same with the football goals.

some snaps from gravity rush, jesus the screenshot function make it look really jaggy!

Ahh ok, I've gone through one hoop and scored one goal but didn't know it was for anything. Will work on that one another day, maybe when i try the Supercar trials on the last 2 festivals.

So i've had a couple of days to play about and now i'm disappointed to say that Reckless racing 2 on the iphone boasts equivalent graphics to motorstorm and is far the better game :( Touch controls suit this kind of game quite well also, so that's a bit of a stinker!

Vita needs games like uncharted desperately... not simplistic one's like motorstorm rc and rayman that phones can easily replicate.

Just downloaded and played reckless racing 2, I personally think Motorstorm is a better game, much better with button controls

Ah, thought i'd been ignored for a second there! Perhaps you are right but I think anyone would find it hard to say that there is a massive difference between the two. The quality of iOS games (graphically) are getting pretty close to what the Vita is showing us. Once the iPad 3 hits, they'll be on a level playing field.

The graphics were good !

I can never played a game on my phone for more than 15 minutes, easily playing games on the Vita for long periods of time.

If you want Wipeout as well then I would say yes since you get it for an extra £5 when you top up with Vodafone, but then I own one. I like the option of having 3G and GPS against not having it and Near works better with the 3G since it can get your position all the time rather than only when you are connected to a WiFi hotspot that is registered with Skyhook.

Any of the online functionality you can do through a tethered phone if you like.

I've just ordered a 3GB a month for 6months sim from eBay for £29. For me, that added handiness of having it there when I want it is worth it.

Plenty of people got the WiFi though, about 79% of those that bought one in the UK got the WiFi.

On Gravity Rush, it is coming out here and is expected in May.

If it's the three data sim cards for £28.75 :eek:only last week they were going for £18.99

Thanks for the info :D Was originally going to pre-order the 3G version but wasn't entirely sure about how much more it'd drain from my pockets each month for the data, but £29 for that sim doesn't sound bad at all - might have to go for the 3G instead afterall.

My only regret so far is getting the wifi over 3G

Just an update for any one who cares regaridng the pixel on my Vita, I spoke to Amazon to find out there procedure for returns incase i did wish to exchange to my surprise there sending a replacement unit first :D So if thats okay i will return the one i have.

I was expecting them to require me to send this back first with it being tested etc its not so awesome.

So to any one who can help what do i need to do with the one i have? i.e. do i just take my mem card out n factory reset it and all good? Im assmuing saves, account licenses tied to the mem unit and my actual psn account

Yeah, as soon as the guy selling them realised that the 3G was out he's bumped the price up. Understandable really. Even then, £5 a month for 3GB is a great deal. Even GiffGaff only gives you 500MB for that, 3gb costs £12.50

Order a 3G and take the WiFi back once it's arrived

First things first, use Content Manager and do a Backup to your machine of choice (PC/Mac/PS3). Then whatever happens you have all your saves and stuff. Set your new Vita up and once happy, on the old one go into Settings, PSN, Activation, Game and click deactivate and do the same for Video. That way your PSN account won't be tied to two Vitas.

The advantage you have is that you'll have 2 vitas to make the change, most people doing it will have to do it before swapping them out. At least you can double check everything before you box the old one up.

If you want to see what devices your PSN account is currently tied to go to

And iPad3 will be priced to compete with Vita right?

Comparing apples to oranges really.

I'd imagine you do have an ipad though don't you?

Also, an ipad 2 is £400 - compared to say £260 for a 3G Vita. Considering the vast amount of additional functionality that the ipad offers... they are pretty comparable. iPad 3 won't be far off the ipad 2 pricing, despite any rumours you may be going by.

Another thing - I thought OLED screens were supposed to be great? The iPhone 4 display looks far better than the Vita... viewing angles make the Vita screen look awful in comparison!
