I'm really not sure on Blazblue tbh :( I thought I was going to love it, but the controls and combat just seem a bit sluggish. I really am loving Marvel V Capcom 3. But Blazblue I am just struggling with.

Downloading Dissidia 012 at the moment because I loved the first one on the PSP.

I might give Blazblue more of a whirl 2moz.
 
Has anyone had any problems using near recently? It's been working great up until this morning, but now every time I try to update it I get 'an error has occurred'.

Interestingly it now lists South Pole Station as one of the locations it's been too... I wonder if this is related to the problem! :cool: :p
 
Ty for the link Tune :) been looking for a decent RPG to play on my Vita tbh. a lot of people on that forum seem to be suggesting Trails in the Sky, I just wish it wasn't 27.99 on the PSN :p

Might grab Ys the Oath, looks a decent jrpg.

I tried making a forum account on that NeoGAF it doesn't like gmail accounts though :(

They take ages to activate accounts on NeoGAF anyway, took about 6 months for mine :/
 
Was playing MvC3 today, its fun but I can't remeber what team I used before or how to play it decently :D


Turned on Near at about 2PM and there was 3 others in 8KM range, not bad since I live in a small village

The Mrs went ahead and ordered one today, though one of the games she liked the most on mine was Frobisher says! :( I don't suppose anyone has a spare code (Sony sent duplicates out to some people) they wouldn't mind parting with?

Mainly shows what people in your area are playing, and in certain games you can set gifts to share that other people can download (eg I found a cue for use in Hustle Kings, and several Mod Nation Racers parts).

Other people in range can see your PSN name (you can disable that if you like). You can limit sharing information on a game by game basis as well, or even set a zone on a map that, while you're within it, it will treat you as anonymous.

But yes, you can limit what information you want shared, or disable it entirely.
 
i gave in and went and got one about a hour ago with Fifa,and 4gb mem card.I have been trying to download some demo's but they are coming down hellish slow and i keep getting a error while on psn.I had a game of Fifa,it looks pretty good but i tried the pressing the touch pad to pass,not a good move,nearly dropped the vita lol don't think i will attempt that again
 
I had a first go on one of these in HMV today, they only had Virtua Tennis available to play so didn't get the best experience.

The screen is phenomenal, one of the best I've seen, but I hated the user interface (which I suspected from the images I'd seen) and like with the PSP, didn't find it particularly comfortable to use.

Well, with the wifi one it identifies your location (as I understand it) from the Skyhook database based on your broadband ip address, so the actual wifi range/ability has nothing to do with it really. It can then just compare your location with everyone else on the database to show who is in your area.

Order a 3G and take the WiFi back once it's arrived



First things first, use Content Manager and do a Backup to your machine of choice (PC/Mac/PS3). Then whatever happens you have all your saves and stuff. Set your new Vita up and once happy, on the old one go into Settings, PSN, Activation, Game and click deactivate and do the same for Video. That way your PSN account won't be tied to two Vitas.

The advantage you have is that you'll have 2 vitas to make the change, most people doing it will have to do it before swapping them out. At least you can double check everything before you box the old one up.

Cheers for that! Also thanks to your link i now know why my current PS3 Slim wont play and Videos from store etc cause it thinks my original Phat PS3 is main system which died a long time ago so i cant even deactivate that !! :(

Regarding Vita just done a back up think ive done it right, New Vita should be with me for Friday :)
