Just set 17 things downloading and spent £22.77 on Motorstorm, Escape Plan and Stardust+blast pack.

With no 32gb card here yet it'll be interesting! Though at least I can play Motorstorm on the PS3 while i wait for it all. Also need to play more Dead Nation.

I never understand why people continue to order from Play, they are the most useless online retailer going, over promise and under deliver. (excuse the pun!).

Surely you would know to order from ShopTo by now??

There has been more than one batch of people get a load of fraudulent charges on cards attributed to shopto in the past which puts some off.

My Vita didn't get to Mitcham until 02:40. I'm going bet that I have Uncharted, Lumines and Rayman in my hands at least 2 hours before the Vita lol.

I have loads of cheap PSN cards I bought when there were special offers on these so am thinking of buying a couple of PSP games for the VITA (not had a PSP for a few years).

I can't find any Street Fighter games on the Store viewed from a PS3, am I looking in the wrong place or were these on UMD only? Also wondering if Gran Turismo PSP is worth a punt for £14.99 ?

Also, if anyone goes in store to collect their machines/games today, could they list prices of games in the respective shops?

No idea about Street Fighter.

GT PSP is widely accepted as the worst GT party because it is mostly just time trials. It's just not the same.

If buying any PSP games don't forget that a) some still don't work on the Vita yet even if you download and transfer from the PS3 (likely the emulator still needs tweaking) and b) some games are on there in dual packs for less than the same games are up for individually.

Why did you not get Uncharted in Morrisons with your £25 voucher? I think they were supposed to be selling it for £35.

Does anyone know how long the free pre-order pack will be available for? I want a Vita but I should really sell my X360 first.

I'm fairly sure the pre order pack is supposed to be only for pre orders. Suppose it depends how much stock shops have. Play appear sold out.

Play customer services are useless !

They said I have to wait another 24hours before they dispatch it wtf!

Might just cancel the play order and order with Amazon, as I have prime, I will have the vita tomorrow !

For those interested in Netflix BTW, it is up on the US store and working very nicely from what I've read. No doubt it'll be here soon. Netflix is massive in the US so thats why they got it first.

BTW, All the PSP GTA games work on the Vita

Got mine yesterday, but the SIM card included with it is knackered... I've run Vodafone CS and they confirmed its toast and said I need to get a new one ... Ah well... I'll just have to wait to play Wipeout

No, I bought the 3G with the plan to download Wipeout, but as the SIM is knackered I can't top it up to get my download code.

The store on the Vita itself has been live since yesterday. I started downloading games when I got in from work.

Yeah the store is but I didn't see netflix when I was downloading on my PS3 at midnight. I jsut read someone say it was live in the EU but have no way of checking without getting out of bed


JUST A REMINDER FOR PEOPLE!!!!

When it wants to do the initial update tell it that you do not want to use your current PSn account. Create a trial one to get it to update.

If your Vita freezes or locks up DO NOT PANIC. Hold the Power button down for 20 seconds, when the menu pops up select "restart PS Vita". If this does not work, plug it in to the MAINS power if available (mains will charge faster than USB) and try again in 30 minutes.

I was looking at the GTA games as well. I think I played the 1st on PSP but not the subsequent ones. Is there some sort of pack to get them all together? How much did you pay to get them all?

Why not use your account?

Purely because it will tell you that you can't until you update so it's a waste of time.

Yup, its a silly loop that Sony didn't fix since the Japanese launch (I imagine the hardware was already on a boat tbh). Just use the trial account to update the FW and then you can use your proper account.


After finally dragging my hariy arse out of bed and going to look at the PS3 It's managed to download half the Fifa demo, half of Escape Plan and pretty much bugger all else. Now I've paused some bits to get some more important bits done first (IE Super Stardust Delta )

On that basis I might as well clean the house as it looks like a bomb's dropped and it sure as hell isn't getting done AFTER the Vita arrives

EDIT: 200 people already rated Motorstorm RC, average is 4.73. You can only rate if you buy the game digitally. Not bad for 10 hours!

Rayman, Lumines and Uncharted just arrived along with my litle earbud pouch to put the game carts in within the VIP case when it arrives.

First thought, how TINY are these boxes!

So is the bottom line that remote play for all games on PS3 are not necessarily going to be supported?

They demoed it with Killzone 3 last year and said they were working on making it better to roll out. Eurogamer had an article that Sony were going to flip the switch on all PS3 games about 4 months ago but that never happened.

I think it's ore likely that new games will get support for it than existing ones. I just hope they do continue to push it, with Nintendo pushing the Wii U I think they probably will.

Also they said that any existing games that work will be at the standard PSP resolution as that is what they are designed for. Any new titles that suport it will be at a higher resolution.

I have a PSP and never really delved into remote play with the PS3, do you need to leave the PS3 on if you want to remote connect to it, or does it wake up?

It will wake up. You need to set it to do that I think.

Uncharted keeps saying network features have been disabled. I thought PSN was back up??

That's normal sadly. A few games do diable network features to save some battery. Hopefully it'll become an option soon rather than compulsory.

Most don't though.

Sealed Rayman is in the MM now.

EDIT this is from a member of NeoGAF about the 3G in response to someone talking about having to wait 3 days.

This is completely contradictory to what my phone call's resolution was.

I was passed from customer service to tech to engineering in the end.

Apparently the SIM cards are deactivated and require a £5.00 top up in order to get them activated in the first instance.

As soon as this is done you can then sign up for a MyAccount as normal - the text with your Security Code will come to your "Notifications from Operator" area and also via the notifications bubble in the top right.

Looks like it is working but still not as easily as it should have.

Hey, I am new to this forum, but have been watching it closely for the last couple of weeks!

Have just picked up my Vita! I saw yesterday you were looking at selling Rayman. I would be interested to buy it, but cannot work out how to PM you?

Sorry dude it was just sold via the Members Market. You need I think 1000 posts to get access to it.

I reckon there will be more on Ebay soon as a lot of people got it like i did. Also its a Ubisoft game so will probably be £15 in a few weeks anyway.
