O.k as some of you have been reading, I have changed my ram from 6GB Tri Channel to 12GB Dual Channel with the intention of swapping later to the IVY CPU and 16GB of Dual channel ram. (one stick spare for the time being)

The computer pritty much booted with the Old O/C settings with the slight adjustment in Ram timings from 8-8-8-24 (tri-channel) to 9-9-9-24 (dual channel), can you take a look at my pics and make sure all is o.k, just started stress testing atm and all looking o.k.

The thing thats confusing me is on the first pic is the Maxium Bandwidth = PC3 - 10700 667MHZ.......surely this should say PC3 - 12800 800MHZ?????

Have I unclocked my ram somehow althought it seems to be running at 1600MHZ??

Help!! :(

Ignore the last screenshot in your post. All that shows is the SPD settings not what your RAM is actually running at.

The second screenshot shows the RAM at 1600MHz but that's wrong because it should say 800MHz which is doubled as the RAM is Double Data Rate.

Try using the current version of CPU-Z, your version is over 3 years out of date.

And finally if you've put 3 sticks of RAM in the correct slots you should be operating in triple channel mode.
