Hi all,
I had a new PCI express m/b (msi k8n) and HIS Iceq3 X1900XT graphics card delivered from OC today.
I have just finished rebuilding the PC and was just about to put in the graphics card but it needs a 6 pin power connector. My PSU is a tagan TG480 U01 which was bought last year from OC. The guy on the phone told me it was compatible but it doesn't seam to have the 6 pin connector.
Is there any way of connecting to the card without updating the PSU? ie some sort of converter. My old graphics card (X800XT) only required a std 4 pin power connector.
Also I presume all new PSU come with these 6 pin connectors
Any help or comments would be appreciated
Cheers
Deks
