Hey guys,

I bought this PC :

And my Turtlebeach x12 Headset isnt detecting sound or my microphone, i have entered Sound and change default audio device,

At the beginning i did hear sound, however now i cannot hear anything and nothing comes out of my mic,

Please help me guysss

It works with my old PC, i was using it before this 1 arrived earlier today??

Its something to do with the new PC, im not sure what tho???

Something to do with the soundcard is my best bet, but i dont know what and how to fix it, anyone know?

Make sure you have the right device selected in Control panel/ Sound/ Recording.

Did you order it with an additional sound card, plugged into the right place?

Nope there was no sound card upgrade.

I have gone through all of the devices in Sound, and made them all the defauly Audio device, but everytime i click on test i hear nothing....

Anyone got a solution :/// this is killing me

Take a screenshot of your recording properties and post in on here.

I assume you have that selected? Have you also got the mic in the correct port on the I/O shield? Pink is the mic input.

Have you tried the sound ports on the back?

You got the USB from the headset connected right? Since that's for power.

That looks fine. Are you using the front or rear mic input?

Well if it works with the back ports, then it's probably a loose front panel connection.

Ok guys, now i have got it so others can hear me, and i can hear others, however everytime i hear others, i hear myself just as clear, what to do now?

i've got turtle beach px21s and my microphone input for them is named 'turtle beach usb headset' if thats any help
