Surely Nintendo are interested in generating hits and publicity for the 3DS, I assume competitions exist for this reason and traffic to their site is welcome regardless of source.

With regards to arknor, I sympathise with your point but I politely asked if people could like the video in order to get my ranking increased. If anybody has an issue with this concept then I assume they just wouldn't open the thread?

Maybe... in the past I have seen similar circumstances end up with people getting kicked out of the competition.

so many people hate the caps its not like i emailed nintendo and told them hes attempting to rig the votes which im sure is against there competition rules.

annoyed at the amount of "vote for me" crap we have recently.

its against the forum rules to promote business websites for personal gain imo it should be the same for all these stupid competition that are for personal gain

Its not though is it? Just because you think it should be, does not mean that it is, and people are helpful and will help out. Its not a referral link, he's only asking for help in a competition, you can either help or not help, like any other thread, if it doesnt interest you, why bother posting in it? The title makes it pretty clear what is inside the thread.

(a) Like Tefal, dislike arknor
(b) Like Tefal, like arknor
(c) Like Arknor, dislike Tefal

I can already tell you how that votes going to go. It's not like someone with 1 post has joined to say 'vote for me, yo!' - it's Tefal.

Anyway, as long as people copy/paste the link rather than just clicking it all should be fine.
