pls help!! (abit awd9 max owners pls)

just puting my 4300 C2D rig together and I noticed an ATX12V1 power connector on the mobo. My psu is an anted and only has a 4 pin power cable while the slot on the mobo requires 8!!

Do I need to buy a new cable?

You don't need to connect the bottom one unless your using crossfire.

Are you talking about the molex connection?

The atx4p1 it just provides more power to the pci express slots.
