Not really sure what the purpose of this post is, other than to vent. Currently having a situation whereby we have both the sink and shower/ bath's drain blocked. My old dear reported to me earlier that the bath was draining slowly, which I decided could wait until tomorrow for me to deal with, when I could get someone out, or go to places like The Plumb Centre for supplies, parts, tools etc. Unbeknown to me however, mother dearest got hold of a plunger from the sister in law, and at 12:15 this morning, decided to set about unblocking the drain. Quell surprise, she's pushed the blockage down further, blocking the bath, and now also the sink completely. Furthermore, she's also dumped a bottle of sink unblocker down there that's intended for kitchens, and is meant to be flushed through after 30 minutes which I can hear fizzing away, as it isn't going anywhere. I just hope it doesn't wreck the PVC piping. Any suggestions on how to proceed gentlemen?
