I know X55 are not 3-way sli compatible.
Sounds like a lot of pain in the ass. You would expect for a £400 quid card to get a flexi SLI bridge included. Guess not.
Seems like the 580gtx was a bit rushed, especially this first batch.
The card is still going back though. 870 - 2350 is its peak.

What makes you think the Gigabyte youve ordered will be a better clocker?,after all the cards are all reference with reference clocks.

about the SLi connector, if you board is SLi capable it comes with a sli or tri sli like my nvidia board did, it pointless to have it with the card because of the gaps differences and also if every card came with that you bought came with that you would have a lots of connectors.

Nope if you board is a crossfire board i am sure you would get the cable with it and the same if you have an Nvidia board, i only play around with nvidia, personal preference so i can only speak on that.

Can get any worse 1.050 is the worse you can get.

then you got 1.025 / 1.000 for stock speeds.

It appears that 580gtx especially this first batch are all 1.050 does anyone else have anything different?

As for the sli bridge I'm sure you can get one easily and cheaply enough from the auction site should you need one, so is it really worth the hassle/costs to send it back? It maybe 400 quid but it's still a budget brand so miminum accessories are to be expected shurely? Or are you really returning it because it doesn't oc well?

Just did a quick search for Gigabyte GTX580 on youtube and it doesn't appear to come with a sli bridge as well.

Yeah soz about the 5870 there :) lol.

SLI bridge is not really that much of an issue. The package of 580 GTX POV is dire, and you get only 2 years warranty. Gigabyte gets 3 years.

For a flag ship £400 model I did expect a little bit more in the box than an hdmi-min adaptor. POV very poor. You get more in the box with a GeForce 210 £40 quid card.

There are some that have em up for a fiver upwards. I think i got lucky. There was only an hour left on the auction, so I just put a fiver down and left it. Came back later and wont it at 99p. Postage is 1.50 though lol. 12cm flexible one as well.
