The title is describing me
I have a Casio Exilim EX-S12 digital camera but seem to be incapable of taking a decent quality picture with it.
Every now and again I get a very clear shot which I'm happy with but more often than not I end up deleting the pics because they are blurred or just plain crap. I think it may be to do with the lighting and how close the object is.
Here is an example of a pic I've taken which I think is good quality and this is after I've resized it:

There are so many settings on the camera that I'm at a loss as to how to ensure a 'clear' picture. I've read the instructions but they may as well be in a foreign language.
Any simple advice
Edit - just comparing the properties of a few pics I've taken and the main difference(s) seem to be
exposure time and ISO speed
