The title is describing me :o

I have a Casio Exilim EX-S12 digital camera but seem to be incapable of taking a decent quality picture with it.

Every now and again I get a very clear shot which I'm happy with but more often than not I end up deleting the pics because they are blurred or just plain crap. I think it may be to do with the lighting and how close the object is.

Here is an example of a pic I've taken which I think is good quality and this is after I've resized it:

There are so many settings on the camera that I'm at a loss as to how to ensure a 'clear' picture. I've read the instructions but they may as well be in a foreign language.

Any simple advice

Edit - just comparing the properties of a few pics I've taken and the main difference(s) seem to be
exposure time and ISO speed

Lowering the exposure time will help... If you camera has the option to change this and auto on everything else, try that.

Alternately, use the flash when you can to freeze the action.
